for the year 2000. The Patient-Centered Guides series has three books in the top
twenty:

Making Informed Medical Decisions was co-authored by Lucy
Thomas, Director of the Reeves Medical Library in Cottage
Hospital, Santa Barbara California and active in CAPHIS.
Lucy did book signings at the MLA in Orlando.

Childhood Cancer Survivors was co-authored by Nancy Keene,
childhood cancer advocate, author, and Editor with Patient-Centered
Guides. Nancy will be speaking at the Family Resource Center
conference, June 12-14 in Toronto, on the needs of parents for
information after a diagnosis of cancer.
Nancy has written four
other books for the series: Childhood Leukemia,
Childhood Cancer (solid tumor cancers), Working with
Your Doctor, and Your Child in the Hospital.
Organ Transplants was written by Robert Finn.
Robert is also author of Cancer Clinical Trials, a
Patient-Centered Guides title.
